The Shiba Inu team has issued a direct message to its loyal community, warning them to remain vigilant in the face of increasing misinformation and community fatigue. In two separate updates, SHIB leaders RagnarShiba and Lucie clarified ongoing contributions, highlighted risks, and urged holders to stay committed during this challenging market cycle.
RagnarShiba Debunks False Claims and Urges Caution
RagnarShiba, one of the core SHIB team members and a known social media administrator, recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to clarify his role in the project. In a firm statement, he denied several misleading posts that questioned his ongoing involvement in the SHIB ecosystem.
Ragnar emphasised that he still actively serves as an official SHIB Telegram group admin. He also plays a critical role in supporting centralised exchange listings, helping apps integrate SHIB, and engaging in various ecosystem development efforts.
He cautioned the SHIB Army against believing misinformation, especially narratives that distort or downplay the contributions of long-standing team members. “Please stay safe and be cautious of misleading information,” he wrote, reinforcing the need for fact-based engagement within the community.
Because there have been some misleading posts about my contributions to the Shib ecosystem, I want to clarify a few things. I continue to serve as an admin in the official Shiba Ecosystem Telegram group, and I also lead the group that includes admins from all the local country…

Lucie Highlights Self-Custody Fatigue and Market Sentiment
In a separate update, Lucie, SHIB’s marketing lead, shared her perspective on the emotional strain some holders are experiencing. Addressing the community’s visible exhaustion, she acknowledged that many long-term SHIB investors feel disheartened by the recent months’ lack of strong price performance.
Some raw honesty: PATIENCE & NO FRIENDS IN CRYPTO

This has been super depressing for many who kept accumulating, believing, and waiting—only for nothing to happen.
I can see the tiredness in a lot of people. Some have completely lost it, turned to FUD, and even started hating.…
Lucie didn’t sugarcoat the frustration: “Some have turned to fudding the SHIB team, some have begun hating it, others have completely lost it.” However, she described this as a natural consequence of self-custody, where crypto investors bear the full weight of their financial decisions.
She posed a tough but honest choice to holders: “You either keep going, or you give up.” Her post reminded us that the road to success in decentralised ecosystems often includes setbacks, long waiting periods, and waves of doubt.
Lucie also urged caution, reminding SHIB holders that “this space isn’t always what it seems,” hinting at the deceptive nature of market sentiment and opportunistic misinformation.

Final Thoughts: Unity and Vigilance Are Key
As the SHIB ecosystem evolves, team members remain focused on development and transparency. Yet, the recent wave of disinformation and fatigue within the community underscores the need for clear communication and emotional resilience.
With continued updates from developers and community leaders, the SHIB team aims to reinforce trust, steer attention back to progress, and rally support for the long-term vision.
