Lucie, Shiba Inu’s official marketing lead, recently posted on X to tease an eagerly awaited Web3 upgrade for the Shiba Eternity game. She also warned the community about scammers claiming the update has been launched and urging users to spend their crypto.
Web3 Update: Shibatopia Arena
According to Lucie’s tweet, the new upgrade, titled “Shibatopia Arena,” will introduce ranked tournaments and blockchain-backed card battles. This Web3 integration will transform digital cards into unique assets on the Shibarium blockchain.

Thanks to this update, players can participate in ranked tournaments with 15-day cycles and 14 divisions. They will compete to advance from White Belt to Grandmaster, earning points for victories and losing points for defeats. Moreover, cards earned in the game will be NFTs on Shibarium, allowing users to trade, sell, or showcase them in their collections.
Warning To The Community
Lucie highlighted that the game will feature over 10,000 unique Shiboshi Heroes, each with special abilities. Players can use these heroes to lead their decks in strategic battles. She proudly stated that this transition of Shiba Eternity from Web2 to Web3 ensures player ownership and pushes the boundaries of blockchain gaming.

The main tokens used in the game will be BONE and TREAT. However, Lucie and other SHIB team members have repeatedly reminded the community that TREAT has not been launched yet. She emphasized that the Web3 upgrade for Shiba Eternity has not been rolled out either. Lucie cautioned users to verify any links with SHIB admins on Discord before clicking them to avoid scams.
