Lucie, the marketer for the Shiba Inu ecosystem, recently provided an update on the delay regarding the second phase of the Shiba Eternity closed beta testing. She revealed in a tweet that the team behind the game faced unforeseen issues, which led to the postponement of Phase 2.
Phase 1 Launch and Initial Expectations
The team initially launched Phase 1 of the Shiba Eternity beta testing on August 21, 2024. This phase gave exclusive access to users with staked LEASH tokens on ShibaSwap. Following the launch, the team had promised to roll out Phase 2 of the beta testing by September 5, 2024.
In the upcoming Phase 2, access was planned for holders of specific Shiba Inu ecosystem non-fungible tokens (NFTs). This includes Shiboshi, SHEboshi, and Shiba Eternity Lore NFTs. However, the team’s failure to meet the scheduled launch date left the community disappointed.
