The Shiba Inu team recently shared updates about its L2 blockchain, Shibarium, and its gaming project, Shiba Eternity.
Shibarium Reaches Major Milestone
Lucie, Shiba Inu’s marketing lead, announced on X that Shibarium has neared a significant milestone, approaching a three-month high in deployed contracts. This surge points to increased developer activity within the ecosystem.
Shibariumscan data confirmed that on September 5, the blockchain recorded the deployment of 34 smart contracts, just shy of the three-month high of 36 contracts reached on July 25. This rise follows the launch of the Shiba Inu Developer Portal (ShibDev) less than two weeks ago.

Since the launch of ShibDev, more developers have shown interest in building on Shibarium, leading to an increase in the number of deployed contracts. So far, the platform has supported a total of 17,653 smart contracts.
Shiba Eternity Receives Gameplay Updates
In addition to the Shibarium news, Lucie also revealed significant updates for Shiba Eternity to enhance its user experience. The gaming team introduced three key changes, addressing bugs and improving the user interface.
Bug fixes included resolving issues with the loading screen, freezing problems when a player disconnects from a match, and fixing a persistent “On Play” effect for the Princess Andromeda card. Alongside these improvements, new leaderboards and a rewards system have been added to make the game more engaging.
