Shiba Inu marketer Lucie shared a message from ecosystem lead Shytoshi Kusama, detailing the project’s development and future plans. In an X post, Lucie stressed Shiba Inu’s building stage, emphasizing the need for a strong foundation. She quoted Kusama: “The moat is built to protect the castle; now we build,” highlighting the importance of security before advancing further. According to Lucie, Shiba Inu is in the initial stage of its developmental journey, labeled as “stage 1, step 1.”

Shibarium: The Railway Track

Lucie likened Shiba Inu’s L2 blockchain, Shibarium, to a railway track, explaining that the team is establishing essential access points for users and developers on Shibarium. The team is also updating Shiba Inu’s technology, fostering key partnerships, and ensuring the ecosystem remains healthy. Notably, top industry figures are monitoring Shiba Inu, indicating growing interest that could lead to significant partnerships, although Lucie did not disclose their identities.

Building a comprehensive ecosystem takes time and effort, as Lucie acknowledged. Despite challenges, she expressed confidence that Shiba Inu will create a new narrative once it establishes the necessary elements (stations). She urged the community to stay informed in the ongoing development, which marks a new chapter for the dog-themed token.

Shiba Inu’s Current Projects

Meanwhile, the Shiba Inu ecosystem team is working on multiple projects, including its play-to-earn (P2E) game Shiba Eternity. Despite launching Shiba Eternity’s mobile version in October 2022, the team is actively developing its blockchain version, expected to release by next year.

Additionally, Lucie disclosed that the team is working on SHIB: The Metaverse, affirming that the project has not been forgotten. Both Shiba Eternity and SHIB: The Metaverse are crucial components of the ecosystem, transitioning Shiba Inu from a memecoin to a utility project. Shytoshi Kusama leads Shiba Inu’s team, dedicated to actively building a secure and innovative ecosystem.
